The Second Half: A Q&A with Larry and Dan

Here’s the second half of the questions Larry and Dan were asked in a “get to know you” fashion:

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

 L: Legally, I can’t discuss it.

D: Probably bungee jumping in Canada.

What are you most proud of?

D: Achieving my college degree.

L: Definitely my kids.

When it comes to snacks, do you prefer salt or sugar?

L: Sugar.

D: Both! But if I have to choose one, it would have to be salt.

What life lessons have you learned from your career in real estate?

L: Take good care of people and that will reward you. Always be honest and ALWAYS do what you say you’re going to do. I really live by the latter sentence, I can’t stand flaky people.

D: We were taught from a young age to treat others the way we want to be treated, but that can be an easy thing to forget. I’ve learned throughout my career in real estate how incredibly important that statement is.

What TV Series do you watch religiously?

D: Law & Order SVU.

L: With the advent of streaming TV, I tend to bounce around a lot. I’ve been into Breaking Bad lately. It’s a guilty pleasure.

What is the best dish you can cook?

D: Pesto pasta, although to be honest, the pesto comes in a packet so there isn’t a lot of “cooking” involved.

L: Cottage cheese pancakes. Sounds weird but they are really good.

D: I’ve never been accused of being a great chef.

L: Same. I’m really a terrible cook. Thank God for my wife or I’d starve.

Can you do any celebrity impersonations?

L & D: None that you’d want to see!

What is the best joke you tell?

L: None I should repeat here…

D: I’m terrible at telling jokes, so I won’t bore you with an attempt.

  Do you have pets?

L: One dog, Luna. She’s a pit bull mix / rescue.

D: Growing up we always had cats, gerbils, even a rabbit at one point, but no pets in my adult life – at least not yet.

Do you have children? What is the hardest part about being a parent?

D: No children… yet.

L: I have two boys. The hardest part about being a parent is knowing you can’t spend all of the time you’d like with your kids.

Best meal of the day is breakfast, lunch or dinner?

D: Dinner for sure.

L: Dinner. It’s frowned upon to drink at breakfast or lunch!
